Elmore Court Gillyflower Wedding – Lucy & Philip
Elmore Court Gillyflower Wedding – At the moment I should be knee deep in the wonderful world of a busy wedding season! However, a certain little bug doing the rounds throughout the globe has resulted in a rather empty calendar over the next few months! So what better way to fill that void than with a set of blog posts from recent weddings!
I’ll start off with my first Elmore Court wedding of 2020, Lucy’s and Philip’s epic day in the Cotswolds back February. I met this awesome couple a few weeks before their wedding and when I heard about their plans for the day I knew it was going to be a cracker!
Lucy works for the Martini brand so there just had bar set up in the great hall for the drinks reception! That wasn’t the only thing the guests could enjoy during the afternoon, the German Jukbox Oompah band kept everyone entertained too!
Philip’s role as a pilot was also incorporated into the day too, with tables named after international airpots.
I’m delighted to announce that everyone walked away from the smoke grenade shot relatively unscathed (well, Philip dropped Lucy on the floor and one unfortunate groomsmen was a little bit singed!).
As always, it was great working alongside Ben from Mrs Mashup, the fabulous Maria and Lauren from Sorori Design and Lauren Grey, a gorgeous cake by Claire at Cake Daydreams, dresses supplied by Not Another Boring Bridesmaid Dress, with the epic Tux Fizz finishing the night off perfectly!
A lovely message from Lucy and Philip on their return from honeymoon –
“Hi Rob, apologies we haven’t got back to you yet, we actually mustered all our self control to hold off from looking at these. We wanted to have a moment where we were sitting down with a glass of fizz and we could enjoy looking through them all. That was last night and, well….WOW!!
I had to have the box of tissues by my side and we are both so thrilled with them. They beautifully capture the day unfolding, we love them. We’ve both been looking at them non stop this morning, it’s going to be a hard task to decide on what’s going to make the frames and on the thank you cards!
Thanks so much for making our day so easy and fun and for giving us lasting memories with the photos. Lucy and Philip xx”
