Stanway House Wedding Photography – Kate & Tom’s Summer Wedding
Stanway House Wedding Photography – Wedding season is very much in full swing and days (and nights!) are a little hectic in wedding world (I’m currently editing one of the five fab weddings I’ve shot in the last eight days!). As a result, my poor little blog is starting to feel a little neglected!
I met this fab couple only a few days before the big day to do a little reconnaissance trip of the venue. I was smiling from ear to ear when they showed me around grounds of the church, the barn and the perfectly maintained lawns leading up to the impressive Stanway House Fountain. It’s a photographers dream with so many varied backdrops to use, I could have snapped portrait shots for hours and hours!
During the reccy, Kate and Tom showed me the barn, it was an empty shell, a complete blank canvas but when I returned on the day of the wedding my jaw dropped as I walked through the tall wooden doors; they had transformed it into a truly incredible banqueting hall!
One photo on their shot list was the big group shot in front of the famous fountain. Kate and Tom warned me that if the wind was blowing in the wrong direction we could get a little soggy, thankfully the weather behaved itself and we got their shot!
Anyway, enough of my wafflling, here are a few photos from their special day in the Cotswolds.
