Hyde Barn Cotswold Wedding Photography – Julia & John
Their attention to detail on the day certainly kept me on my toes as there were lots of funky little things to photograph; my particular favourite was a gentle prompt in the gents loo’s reminding the guys to keep things fresh when the dancing started later on. Oh, and I also loved the personalised Converse for Julia’s bridesmaids!
It was all action in the morning in the bridal prep room at Hyde Barn, even the window cleaner was trying to get in on the act at one point! John was busy meeting and greeting the guests in Fosse Manor whilst Annie and the team were prepping the garden for the outdoor ceremony.
At 2pm Julia appeared through the doors, and as you’ll see from the shots below she looked absolutely amazing in her dress! I could see a lump appearing in John’s throat as she turned to walk down the aisle, but he did a grand job holding back the tears during the service!
The emphasis on fun continued throughout the day. Even when we disappeared for the portrait pics, Julia and John were pulling some funky poses, which is exactly what it’s all about, just being yourself, enjoying the day and having a laugh!
We finished the night off with some cracking action on the dancefloor where I was also presented with one of my wedding highlights; everybody mimicking Sandra’s finger bopping on the dancefloor! I loved it!
